Pollen Index

June 1 – July 17, 2016
Rust Never Sleeps: Growth & Decay in the Making of Art, Charles H. Scott Gallery (Re-named Libby Leshgold Gallery)

Pollen Index explores the ideologies and economics of floriculture through the creation of a small flower shop in the gallery window of the Charles H. Scott. Similar to vendor stalls in the nearby Granville Island Market, floral arrangements will be made upon request for the duration of the exhibition. Arrangement designs will reveal the co-evolutionary relationship between human desire and botanical reproduction.

Pollen Index was made possible with support from the Canada Council for the Arts.
